Under the direction of Managing Principals Gary Gregg, Scott Maxwell, Jason Wery, and Chris Walton the Arizona office routinely manages hundreds of transactions for local and portfolio clients with annual transaction volumes exceeding $100 million. Since founding the Phoenix office in 1999, Cresa Phoenix has built a strong team of experienced professionals who have tremendous success in both the local market as well as national and international representation for the firm’s clientele. 

Our team of advisors has extensive experience representing clients in a wide variety of industries.  We have the flexibility to scale our services to provide the resources necessary to implement solutions, ranging from a one-time local real estate transaction to managing all aspects of a global real estate portfolio through our comprehensive services platform. Services include Transaction Management (acquisitions and dispositions), Project Management, Portfolio Strategies, Strategic Planning, Capital Markets and Lease Administration. Our clients have portfolios ranging in size from 1,200 square feet locally to 38 million square feet globally.

Our Market

The Greater Phoenix area has a strong mix of business activity, and Arizona remains one of the fastest growing states in the country. With a vibrant and diverse workforce of over 4.3 million people, the Phoenix Metro is poised to grow it’s significant presence in manufacturing, distribution, advanced business services, aerospace & aviation, renewable energy and emerging technologies. 

With a diverse real estate base of approximately 150 million square feet of office space and nearly 300 million square feet of industrial space, the greater Phoenix area has grown into a popular corporate destination. At Cresa Phoenix, we track real estate activity in multiple valley submarkets. We have advisors who specialize in every submarket including:  Scottsdale and East Valley office markets, as well as the Southwest Valley industrial submarket, or the Downtown and Midtown corridors, to name a few.

As the local economy continues to recover in Phoenix, commercial real estate conditions in the Valley are slowly improving. The amount of available product for all commercial users to choose from remains plentiful.  

Throughout the area, many landlords are interested in working with new and existing tenants on longer-term lease commitments in exchange for locking into rates that may be favorable to the tenant. For users with one or two years remaining on their lease, we see this as an opportunistic time to renegotiate a lower rental rate for the remaining term, as well as lock in favorable rates and terms for the future.
