The project resulted in a reduction from 188,000 SF overall to 100,000 SF at Ellis Preserve. Our team acted as an extension of the Trinity Real Estate Facilities team, by actively engaging and managing all project activities. Since we were underway when COVID shut down construction activities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, we were quickly able to obtain a waiver to proceed with the work under a healthcare exemption. We also adapted our team’s site visit procedures as well as those of the wider project team to ensure site visits and inspections continued as needed, without causing delay. As a representative and advocate for Trinity Health, we were committed to making sure that the required level of attention is paid throughout. This included items such as scheduling and attending all programming and design meetings, oversight of the construction and FF&E, relocation and following up with the various groups as needed, and confirming that necessary purchase orders and more were generated.
