Altaf brings over 20 years experience in the built environment, focusing on asset and lifecycle planning, operations, commercial finance and budget management, capital planning, environmental sustainability, procurement/strategic sourcing, project management.
Altaf spent eight years in the financial sector at TD Bank and KPMG in Toronto, and the past 15 years managing a $150M commercial real estate portfolio in Ottawa, with construction projects ranging between $35M-$85M. Between 2019-2023, Altaf co-chaired a global task force on Environmental Sustainability and chaired a Canadian working group on Environmental Sustainability and Safety & Security.
