For these large‑scale sand processing plant projects serving the oil and natural gas industry—including the ground‑up construction of a specialty resin coating facility—Cresa provided comprehensive owner’s representation support both in the field and behind the scenes. At the Monahans site, Cresa led development of the specialty coating facility, successfully replicating the technology and systems used at Preferred Sands’ Genoa, Nebraska operation to ensure consistency, performance, and operational reliability.

As owner’s representative, Cresa strengthened project execution by refining schedules and controls, coordinating vendor startup and validation, overseeing capital budgets, and supporting procurement and manpower planning. When project challenges emerged, Cresa delivered forensic schedule and issue analysis to identify corrective paths, mitigate risk, and keep the project moving forward.
