Client Objectives

Modivcare Solutions, LLC provides non-emergency medical transportation, in-home personal care, remote patient monitoring, medication management and meal delivery services.

In 2022 the company decided, after eleven years in an existing office location, to relocate their Greenville, South Carolina call center operation to new office space. The former space was tired, dated, uninspiring and in three different suites on two different floors due to growth over the years. The furniture was in poor condition and the IT and AV equipment needed to be updated to the latest technology with high-speed cabling. Modivcare selected a seven-building office complex, approximately four miles from the former office park, due to its wellness-driven campus environment, on-site deli, ample free parking and future proposed amenities.

In addition to Cresa’s involvement with the transaction, project management services included design development, project team selection, construction management, IT/AV coordination, move management and decommissioning of the former space. Weekly construction and schedule updates were provided to the team, and meticulous tracking of expenses allowed Modivcare to make quick and informed decisions. On behalf of Modivcare, Cresa submitted documentation to the new landlord for reimbursement of the improvement allowance and tracked payments to Modivcare. Decommissioning and closeout of Modivcare’s former office space by Cresa resulted in the return of Modivcare’s security deposit and refunds for overpayment of 2022 and 2023 operating expenses, thus allowing Modivcare to close the former chapter and begin to build a new one in a fresh and inspiring space.
