Habitat for Humanity relocating Atlanta headquarters to Peachtree Center

Habitat for Humanity is relocating its downtown Atlanta headquarters.

The organization, which works to eliminate substandard housing, has signed a 54,603-square-foot lease at the Marquis Two Tower in Peachtree Center.

Habitat for Humanity is moving from downtown’s 270 Peachtree. It plans to occupy the new space by November.

Jonathan Reckford, Habitat for Humanity International CEO, said the new space offers a more collaborative work environment. The nonprofit’s workforce has also grown since opening its downtown headquarters in 2006, he said.

Bob Misdom, principal at Cresa Atlanta, represented Habitat for Humanity in lease negotiations.
