WageWorks is a leading on-demand provider of tax-advantaged program for consumer-directed health, commuter and other employee spending account benefits, or Consumer-Directed Benefits, in the United States. In order to create a higher profile presence in the Milwaukee area, WageWorks was looking to relocate downtown. Cresa teamed with Wageworks to provide Site Selection, Incentives, Transaction Management and Project Management.
The team developed strategies to identify the most appropriate location at the best possible value for WageWorks. Following development of preliminary improvement budgets and schedules for each building option, the team was able to effectively negotiate lease terms to the benefit of WageWorks. The final building location is an historic building in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. The space occupies the top two floors of a 14-story building and highly visible rooftop sign was installed to make an impact on the city skyline and make everyone aware of Wageworks’ presence.
