Bio

Mindy started her career in commercial real estate in 1986 working in an architecture firm designing office space for occupiers. In 1999, Mindy became a real estate advisor in a local occupier representative-only real estate firm. Mindy joined Cresa’s Washington, DC office as a Managing Principal in 2012. She specializes in working with nonprofit organizations and is Managing Principal of Cresa’s Nonprofit Practice Group. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mindy led the Remote Work Task Force that resulted in the new service line, Cresa Remote Advisory Services. In addition, Mindy acts as Cresa’s liaison for GoSpaces, a mobile application that addresses Return to Office and agile workplace strategy.

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Textile Marketing from the University of Maryland, Mindy obtained a Masters of Science degree in Marketing from John Hopkins University.
Mindy holds a lifetime accreditation from the US Green Building Council as a leader in energy and environmental design. She served as board chair of the Finance and Administration Roundtable and is a Finance and Business Operations council member for ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership. Additionally, Mindy is a member of: the Commercial Real Estate Brokers Association of Washington, DC; the Realtors Multi-Million Dollar Leasing Club; and the alumni associations of the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University, respectively. Mindy served on Cresa’s Board of Directors 2018/2019. As a Chairman's Award recipient, Mindy has also been recognized as top producer at Cresa.

Feeding America moving expanding downtown HQ

Mindy Saffer, Managing Principal in Cresa's Washington, D.C. office, assisted nonprofit Feeding America in signing a new lease for 61,000 square feet at 161 N. Clark Street in Chicago.
