For this long‑standing client’s third engagement with Cresa, the objective was to deliver a new office at 599 Lexington Avenue that supported leadership needs, advanced technology requirements, and a tight project schedule. Cresa was engaged to provide integrated services including site selection, lease negotiation, and contractor bidding and selection, while maintaining oversight of budget, schedule, and cost control. A key priority was a new IT system and dedicated equipment room, along with upgrades to mechanical, lighting, and air conditioning systems. The project also required careful coordination of overseas imports and furniture modifications to balance design goals with time and cost efficiencies.
Results
Cresa successfully managed the project from planning through execution, maintaining control of budget, schedule, change orders, and international procurement. Existing furniture was strategically modified and refinished to save time and cost, allowing investment to be focused on high‑impact design elements, including glass partitions imported from Italy and a curated art collection that created an open, contemporary workspace. Cresa coordinated complex furniture modifications—including cutting, fabrication, refinishing, and selective new purchases—resulting in a cohesive, modern office delivered on schedule and aligned with the client’s operational and aesthetic goals.Related
