Client ObjectivesStudio Architects needed a new space that would have an increased square foot-age area from their current office due to company expansion. Not only did they want a more modern space in a premier location, but they also needed to stay in the West Midtown market to pull from the younger and creative talent pool to add to their workforce. This new location needed to have a few requirements including short distance to retail and food, controlled covered parking, plenty of natural sun-light, and open space needed to be highly efficient with respect to column spacing for the open concept furniture being utilized.
Cresa’s Scott Polinski was hired for this job to orchestrate the best deal for Studio Architects so that they could achieve their ultimate goal of moving employees to a new space. Scott was hired to survey the market but had the task of not only choosing locations in a confined area in West Midtown, but staying within a strict budget. This led the client to find their perfect spot in a new Class A building with an upgraded space of 9,232SF located at 8 West.
In moving from their old space to a new and upgraded office, Cresa was able to assist with Site Selection, RFP’s, lease negotiations through its Transaction Management service line.
