Cresa Appoints Andrew Brod Principal In Houston Office

Cresa, the world’s largest occupier-only commercial real estate firm, today announced the appointment of Andrew Brod, SIOR, as a Principal in its Houston office.

The move follows Cresa’s acquisition of Houston-based Fritsche Anderson Realty Partners and marks the first addition by new Managing Principals and Co-Market Leaders, Anthony Fritsche and David Anderson.

“I am excited for the opportunity to join Cresa and benefit from its national, tenant-focused platform,” said Brod. “As a Principal, I am eager to reunite with Anthony and David and further grow Cresa’s Houston office. I look forward to continuing to seamlessly meet the commercial real estate needs of our clients and work closely with our dedicated team.”

Prior to joining Cresa, Brod was a Managing Director and the Houston market leader at Whitebox Real Estate. A 20-year veteran in the industry, he has transacted more than two million square feet on behalf of a range of corporate and financial clients in the office, life science and industrial property sectors.

“We are thrilled to be working alongside Andrew again. His client relationships speak for themselves, and he has an excellent reputation in the market because he is a high-quality individual and an exceptional broker,” Fritsche said. “And we’re not done. With the full support and resources of Cresa, we are poised to continue our recruiting momentum in the near future.”

With a total of 24 licensed advisors and professionals, Cresa remains Houston’s largest, privately held, commercial real estate firm focused solely on tenant representation.

“Andrew is an excellent fit for our company and our culture,” Anderson said. “His high energy and profound range of experience will undoubtedly help continue our growth in the marketplace while providing best-in-class service.”

Cresa continues to expand its services and operations across the U.S., acquiring five companies in the last 18 months. Cresa grew its Texas footprint with the acquisitions of esrp in Dallas and Elevate Growth Partners in Austin. Further, the firm recently acquired Axiom Advisory Group in Detroit, MI, and Vicus Partners in New York City.
