Client Objectives

Year Up New York started in 2006 and within seven years, grew into three different locations in New York City. Its dispersed locations made it difficult for the Board to efficiently manage the organization and be close to its donors. In order to increase operational efficiency and to enhance its ability to attract donors - one large principal, educational location was the end goal.

Results

Multiple service lines and personnel collaborated with Year Up's management to build a strong consensus about the organization's future occupancy needs and desired course of action. This resulted in finalizing the relocation of all three of Year Up’s locations into a newly built space at 85 Broad Street, successfully achieving their occupancy goals while obtaining under-market rents with value-added concessions.
With Cresa, I found a committed and qualified team willing to deliver "above and beyond" the typical client-advisor relationship. In fact, they have truly become a key partner and trusted advisor in this project.
