Roundell of Cresa Secures Lease for American Heart Association

Manhattan, NY Jane Roundell, managing principal at Cresa, has arranged a new home for the American Heart Association at 10 East 40th St., between Fifth and Madison Aves. The 16,660 s/f full-floor space is being designed as a predominantly open workplace to accommodate a more collaborative environment for the organization.

Roundell has advised the founders affiliate of the American Heart Association for 15 years. Richard Teichman and Richard Brickell of Joseph Day Realty Corp., the building’s managing agent, represented the landlord, Ronbet 40th Street LLC. The group is expected to relocate in November.

“A single, full-floor space and a central location were important criteria for the Association’s New York move,” said Roundell. “Their new offices will feature a highly efficient layout, a very large, flexible boardroom/training room, and soft seating areas where people can conduct impromptu brainstorming sessions.”
