There may be added partitions between desks, new touch-free door handles and more hand sanitizer in your office when you return, but Jim Pirot expects the biggest changes will be with what's unseen: The air filtration systems.

Pirot is the managing principal at the New York office for Cresa, a commercial real estate brokerage that represents tenants. He's talking with Cresa's business clients frequently about the office of the future as states begin to ease their mandates for nonessential employees to work from home amid the pandemic.
