James Errante Joins Cresa as Senior VP Project Management

Cresa, the world’s largest occupier-centric commercial real estate firm, welcomes James Errante as Senior Vice President/Project Management of the New York City office. With 25 years of experience in the construction and project management industry, he has a substantial background in directing multiple full-scope projects, cost control, design, labor management, quality control and close out. Mr. Errante has been responsible for the development of ground up construction in excess of one million square feet and has managed a combined total of three million square feet of commercial space in New York, Dallas, Houston and Seattle.

“The breadth of Jim’s project management career is beyond expansive,” says James Pirot, Managing Principal/Project Management, Cresa. “He understands the most complex details of construction, cost control and technology, and is equally adept at working with clients.”

Mr. Errante is currently involved with providing Cresa technical and management oversight for the renovation of North Lindenhurst Fire Department’s station in Long Island. Prior to joining the firm, he was a project manager/owner representative for United Construction Management, where he worked on projects for such clients as Verizon, for which he oversaw 200,000 square feet of office relocation and renovation, a new HR Testing center, and a chiller replacement project.

Other clients in the past have included Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus and the Elie Tahari flagship stores. Mr. Errante’s earliest career was as a police officer for the New York City Police Department. He is a board member of the J.E.T.S. Foundation, which raises money for chronic and terminally ill children and is a member of the local chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
