Cresa Adds Industrial Real Estate Expert to Growing Northeast Brokerage Team

A veteran real estate executive and broker has joined Cresa’s industrial services group as a managing principal, with a regional focus that includes central and southern New Jersey.

In a news release, the firm said Eric Zahniser will be based in its Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, office. He comes to the occupier-centric practice after having negotiated several million square feet of deals throughout the Northeast logistics corridor and across the United States, most recently serving as a principal with Lee & Associates.

He will cover an area that includes parts of Mercer County and Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Cumberland counties, as part of his focus on greater Philadelphia.

“Eric exemplifies the caliber of talent we continue to draw to our unique platform and culture,” Cresa President Greg Schementi said. “His corporate real estate background, market knowledge, passion and unwavering commitment to delivering results on behalf of his valued clients make him a tour de force. We are thrilled to welcome him to our team.”

Zahniser previously served as head of business development and portfolio management at Siemens Healthineers, as senior manager for capital finance and real estate at Bimbo Bakeries USA and as an asset manager with the U.S. General Services Administration. He then transitioned into brokerage with Lee & Associates.

His recent deals include a 619,000-square-foot lease to a third-party logistics firm in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, and a 341,000-square-foot lease on behalf of a similar tenant in Port of Houston, Texas, the news release said. With his arrival, Cresa is expanding its presence in the burgeoning greater Philadelphia industrial market, while marking another step toward regional expansion and providing more services to the company’s client base.
