JD Cantrell Enterprises, LLC has sold its Ace Hardware business and 77,300 SF property to Howard Brothers. The building, located at 4336 Cornelia Highway, has been home to Country Living Ace Hardware for ten years. This will be Howard Brothers’ sixth location with its headquarters space located in Duluth, Georgia. Scott Clayton of Cresa Global, Inc. represented JD Cantrell Enterprises, LLC in its disposition.

Howard Brothers’ new location is hard to miss with its wooden timber, metal roof, and long front porch that hugs the building’s entire exterior. The property resides in Lula, Georgia, conveniently located ten miles north of Gainesville and ten miles south of Cornelia right off I-985 north. JD Cantrell sold the building for approximately $2.9 million.

Under Howard Brother’s new ownership, the company will carry out its True Value partnership by reimagining the store’s interior. Howard Brothers does not expect to change the product selection or its prices but will be adding a larger selection to its Outdoor Power Equipment.

“We take the legacy of Country Living Hardware very seriously. It is a beautiful store that has an incredible team. We look forward to getting to know the community more and promise to serve them well,” said John Howard, President of Howard Brothers.

The timber on the building’s interior and exterior was chosen and milled specifically for the building. Built in 2007, the property sits on 14.34± acres with 150± parking spaces.
