From recent reports, Covid cases are tapering. With the increased rates of vaccination and Omicron becoming endemic instead of pandemic it appears the world is approaching a recovery from the past two years of disruption. Quarterly leasing volume has been the highest in the past two quarters in Atlanta but has not completely rebounded to the pre-pandemic norms. Currently, the sublet market has 5.5M SF, which is the largest inventory at any point since the great recession. In the last quarter of 2021 Atlanta signed more then 2.5M SF of leases including 4 deals each over 100K SF.
