• Pura Vida is a rapidly growing e-commerce company that was looking toexpand its office footprint to accommodate their team with an upcoming lease
expiration and a tight timeline.
• As a brand that was founded on the beach, it was paramount that they keep
the company near the beach in La Jolla but were frustrated with the lack of
options available.
• They required a new HQ with ocean views that they could design to reflect
their company culture and attract top talent with an environment that
encapsulates their brand identity.
Results
• Through our strategic process, Cresa found an off-market space andnegotiated a lease for 5,646 square feet of office with panoramic ocean views.
• The result was a rent negotiated well below market and a tenant improvement
package to fund the custom build-out of their new HQ complete with all glass
conference room and private offices, kitchen & lounge, phone booths, and
retail store.
• Cresa’s market knowledge and negotiation strategy resulted in a new flagship
location in La Jolla positioned for future growth.
