Q3 2019 Sacramento Market Report

The Sacramento office market has continued with a solid Q3 in 2019, in particular the Downtown submarket which had new leases including Delta Conveyance Design and Construction Authority leasing 26,199 square feet on three floors at 980 9th Street, and We Work leasing three of the four floors totaling 96,000 square feet at 660 J Street. The new WeWork lease is in addition to 47,000 square feet signed in Q1 at 400 Capitol Mall. Many people are asking themselves whether Sacramento has the depth to absorb all of the new co-working space coming on line. Q3 saw vacancy rates continuing to decline with lease rates on the rise throughout the region.
