Q3 2022 Edmonton Office Occupier

Through Q3, the Edmonton office market remained mostly flat. Vacancy decreased slightly from 19.35% to 19.14%. Most leasing activities were located in the suburbs where businesses are not facing the same struggle of getting staff back to work as we are seeing downtown. There was a noticeably strong uptick in activity after September long weekend, with local and regional businesses taking the spotlight. These businesses are expanding and now acting on delayed and deferred decision-making.
