Cresa is an international corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents occupiers and specializes in the delivery of fully integrated real estate services. With more than 58 offices, Cresa is the largest occupier representation firm in North America.

We are seeking to hire a Business Manager for our San Diego office. The successful candidate will provide leadership and run day to day operations of the branch. This individual will handle a wide range of tasks from HR, Recruiting, Management, Compliance, Operations, and Administrative related tasks, thus having a “can do” attitude is critical.


The Business manager position will involve the following responsibilities:

1. Oversee finance and accounting function for office
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable – booking deals, confirming commission, billing clients and paying brokers
• Payroll processing
• Yearend/monthly close/Quarterly Business Review prep
• Budget
• Tracking deals and commissions in Salesforce

2. HR
• Contracts and offer letters
• Onboarding/ offboarding
• Benefits administration and 401k
• Employee performance – PMP
• Supervise staff, oversee all personnel issues, maintain employee files
• Training/mentoring/recruiting

3. Marketing

• Oversee Public Relations campaign
• Manage Social Media
• Website content
• Coordinate branded materials

4. Operations
• Physical office and office equipment
• IT equipment and technology
• Point person for all HQ communication and reporting
• Company events
• Real Estate Licensing


• Strong independent judgement
• Strong work ethic
• Strong attention to detail, deadlines and organization
• Ability to manage teams and oversee the operations
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

Special Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Operations, HR and Finance
Experience in Real Estate industry preferred
