Zipcar Signs Lease in Historic Building in CBD

HOUSTON, TEXAS – April 8, 2014 – The Houston office of Cresa, North America’s largest tenant representation firm, recently closed the following transactions:

Zipcar, the world’s largest car sharing service, signed a lease in the historic Esperson Buildings at 808 Travis and 815 Walker, opening an office to support its growing Houston network. Sue Rogers, a Principal with Cresa Houston, represented the tenant and Michael J. Ross of Cameron Management represented the landlord. [OFFICE LEASE]

Advanced Piping Products, a designer and manufacturer of wear pads, pipe shoes, and complementary products, nearly doubled its presence at 5611 Guhn Rd. to 21,000 square feet with a 9,600 square-foot expansion. Chase Spence, Senior Advisor with Cresa Houston, represented Advanced Piping in the negotiation with Michael Flowers of Stream Realty representing the landlord. [INDUSTRIAL LEASE]

Computer Modelling Group, a Canadian-based software company that develops cutting edge reservoir simulation technologies for oil and gas companies, relocated its Houston office to 450 Gears Rd., signing a lease for 7,699 square feet.
