In his role as Senior Research Manager, Will is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive research platform for Cresa Washington DC and Cresa Baltimore. He has over 11 years of experience analyzing and reporting on all facets of the commercial real estate industry, including the transaction, leasing, and capital markets at both the national and local level. Will works closely with the firm’s advisors to ensure the timely delivery of economic and real estate market data for Cresa clients and prospects. As a thought leader from the tenant’s perspective, he prepares valuable, customized research and white papers on a variety of topics, including market trends and forecasting, micro and macroeconomic updates and insights, and industry outlooks.

Professional Experience

Before joining Cresa in 2015, Will was the Director of Market Research for First Washington Realty, Inc., a private pension fund advisory firm specializing in the ownership, management, and acquisition of neighborhood and community shopping centers throughout the United States. During his tenure, Will oversaw all aspects of the market research function and was actively involved in due diligence for both acquisitions and dispositions, as well as portfolio management, leasing, and reporting.        

Prior to this, Will was a Market Research Analyst for GE Capital Real Estate in Norwalk, CT, providing global market intelligence for both the Asset Management and Investment Management divisions. Will started his career as a Research Manager with CoStar Group, a leading data provider to the commercial real estate industry.

Personal Interests

In his free time, Will enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, and landscaping.  Will also has a special interest in home design and architecture and has completed a total renovation on a home in Baltimore.  He has two dogs and volunteers at the Baltimore ASPCA.
