Shannon Momot, as a project financial manager on Cresa Detroit's project management team, uses her 27 years of accounting experience to help clients protect the investments they make into their capital improvement projects. Her focus is primarily in the K-12 education and higher education industries.

Shannon’s keen eye for detail and in-depth knowledge of the processes, procedures, and systems involved in project financial accounting ensures her clients’ project financials are on track throughout the life of a construction project. She provides expertise in budgeting, cash flows, financial reporting, and accounting processes. Shannon’s current clients include Northwestern Michigan College, Crestwood School District, Birmingham Public Schools, and West Bloomfield School District.

Shannon is a firm believer in working as part of a team and building strong client relationships. She is always available and willing to take extra steps to help her clients and her project team, whether that entails explaining processes and system requirements, coordinating billings, producing accurate financial reports, or training someone on Cresa Detroit'sweb-based project management software, e-Builder.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Cresa Detroit, Shannon was an office manager and accountant for a property management and construction in Roseville, Michigan. Throughout her long career there, Shannon enjoyed building relationships with clients and construction professionals as she managed the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, and general business operations for the company.


Shannon has her degree in accounting from Baker College.
