Scott Maxwell has over twenty-five years of commercial real estate experience which includes the financing of commercial projects; the workout and restructuring of troubled assets; and the brokering of office, industrial and retail properties. 

Prior to joining Cresa, Mr. Maxwell was the Regional Manager and Designated Broker of Nuance Realty Advisors of Arizona, LLC. Nuance analyzed, negotiated, and transacted the purchase of class A office buildings within the Phoenix market.  Prior to Nuance, Mr. Maxwell founded Orion Commercial Group, a provider of real estate services to corporate tenants and buyers of commercial real estate.  

As a commercial lender, Mr. Maxwell served as Vice President of FINOVA Capital Corporation responsible for managing the loan production and marketing for its Resort Finance division.  Mr. Maxwell had oversight of over $2 billion in loans and was personally responsible for generating in excess of $500 million in international resort transactions. 

Prior to FINOVA, Mr. Maxwell managed portfolios of real estate assets throughout Arizona for Amresco and First Gibraltar Realty Advisors.  These companies were contracted by the Resolution Trust Corporation to negotiate and restructure the real estate loan portfolios of failed lending institutions.
