Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Cresa: A message from Tod Lickerman

Over the past year, Cresa has taken meaningful steps to work on Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) within the company. We see DIB as important to our talent strategy as we grow the firm, and we want to lay the groundwork to be an employer of choice. As part of this strategy, we are fortunate to be partnering with The Burns Brothers, the premier fully integrated culture-driven diversity agency, to take on a number of important initiatives that have been rolling out over the past few months. Initiatives include a full Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Assessment, Unconscious Bias Workshops, and Leadership Training.

Please watch this video from Cresa CEO Tod Lickerman to hear more about our plans and why this work is critical to our talent strategy.

As mentioned in the video, we are thrilled to welcome Angela Roseboro to our Board of Directors. In her current role as Chief Diversity Officer for Riot Games, Angela develops and implements initiatives to drive inclusion and cultural growth. During her more than twenty years of human resource experience, Angela has held positions leading diversity and inclusion, talent management, and leadership development for companies in the technology, financial services, asset management, government, entertainment, and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Riot, Angela was the Global Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Dropbox. Previously she provided human resource guidance to Fortune 500 companies including T. Rowe Price, Jones Lang LaSalle, Genworth Financial, Whirlpool Corporation, and Manpower International. Angela has received numerous awards and recognitions for her work including Black Enterprise’s 150 Diversity Executive, The Network Journal’s 25 Influential Black Women in Business, and 50 Out Front for Women’s Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion. We could not be happier to have her on our Board.

There are many other DIB initiatives afoot at Cresa, you can learn more in our Annual Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Report, and we look forward to sharing our progress with you.
