Houston Chapter of CoreNet Global Wins CoreNet Global 2007 Chapter Development Award

The Annual Chapter Awards were created to give all chapters an opportunity to be recognized for their outstanding efforts to advance the mission and further the goals and objectives of the CoreNet Global organization at the chapter level. Ultimately, the process is meant to promote a chapter's awareness of its own progress and define opportunities for growth. The Houston Chapter of CoreNet Global, won, for the first time, this prestigious award for the 2006-2007 calendar year.

"The Board of Directors has been committed to advancing initiatives that will grow the chapter financially, in membership numbers and innovation that will increase the value of membership to all of our members" said Sue Rogers, President of the Houston Chapter of CoreNet Global. “This award recognizes the hard work and commitment that has resulted in many success stories over the last year!"

Submissions for the 2007 Chapter Awards came from all over the world showing that CoreNet Global Chapter participation continues to thrive and expand. The Houston Chapter, who had previously won the Programs Award in 2004, has utilized the submittal process to implement development goals that have been met throughout the year.
