Crowley Maritime Corporation Industrial Lease Executed

October 25, 2012
HOUSTON, TEXAS – The Houston office of Cresa, North America’s largest tenant representation firm, recently closed on the 128,500-square-foot industrial lease for Crowley Maritime Corporation, which provides project solutions, transportation, and logistics services in domestic and international markets. Crowley Maritime sought to double its operations in the Houston area.

“Crowley’s new location will accommodate its expanding business following its acquisition of Jarvis International Freight Inc. and a consolidation of some of its business units, allowing for a synergistic environment that promotes cross selling and better communication,” said Barrett Gibson, a Managing Principal with Cresa Houston. “This deal also gave Crowley the opportunity to modernize its facilities, helping to provide the type of work environment that will fuel Crowley’s sustained growth.”

Barrett Gibson and Jason English, a Senior Advisor, who represented Crowley Maritime, negotiated the transaction at World Houston International Business Center in north Houston. Rives Nolen of InSite Commercial Real Estate represented the property owner, EastGroup Properties.
