Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto, a leading national intellectual property law firm, renewed its lease at 975 F Street, NW in Washington, DC, for 17,175 square feet in an early lease restructuring. The firm occupies the entire fourth floor of Carroll Square, a 10-story, 178,200-square-foot “boutique trophy” office building.

Gene Sachs and Chris Finley of Cresa represented the firm in the transaction. According to Sachs, Cresa negotiated more favorable terms, including rent reduction, rent abatement, and an improvement allowance to upgrade under-utilized areas.  The landlord, GLL Real Estate Partners, was represented by Wilbur Pace of Akridge.

Mehri & Skalet, PLLC, a leading class action and complex litigation firm, recently renewed its lease at 1250 Connecticut Avenue, NW in Washington, DC. The firm occupies 10,127 square feet of Class A office space on the third floor of the eight-story building.

Gene Sachs and Paul Ehrenreich of Cresa represented the firm in the transaction. The landlord, Brookfield Office Properties, was represented in-house by David Bevirt.
