Cresa Portland Sponsors Local Entrepreneur Symposium

August 24, 2017

Cresa Portland will serve as a presenting sponsor and panel host at STAGES PDX. Founded in 2016 by entrepreneurs Thubten Comerford and Tyler Phillipi, STAGES PDX is a two-day working symposium designed for early-stage entrepreneurs.

The program is designed to help founders overcome obstacles encountered in different stages of their business. Fellow entrepreneurs, not professional motivational speakers, share their personal experiences in navigating specific issues and offer guidance to colleagues. Each session leaves attendees with actionable steps in overcoming business challenges.

Tyler and Thubten note, “Founders from various industries attend STAGES to take their business to the next stage. This year, we are excited to support founders and companies at both the “Build” and “Launch” stages. This year’s expanded focus means we will have more entrepreneurs who are further along with their businesses.”

Blake St. Onge, senior vice president with Cresa Portland, is honored to be involved. “In conjunction with our sponsorship with STAGES PDX, we will be hosting a panel focused on providing guidance and advisement to founders and entrepreneurs, regarding the real estate life cycle from build-to-launch-to-growth.” He adds, “Real estate is typically one of the top three expenses for any company, closely following personnel and IT costs, and can be a daunting endeavor for any founder or entrepreneur. We are excited to be a continued resource for the community here in Portland”.
