Cresa Portland Adds St. Onge and Whitten

April 6, 2017

Portland Oregon – Cresa Portland is pleased to announce that Blake St. Onge and Mike Whitten have joined the Portland office. St. Onge and Whitten, both formerly with Fischer & Company, join Cresa as a Senior Vice President and Senior Advisor, respectively.

“I am very pleased to have Blake and Mike join our growing team in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. This is a strategic location for Cresa and we are making significant investment to continue to grow our presence in the market” commented Jim Underhill, Cresa’s Chief Executive Officer.

St. Onge, an 11-year veteran of Fischer & Company, brings to Cresa a deep client base and leadership skills that will be essential to grow the office further. Blake will share leadership responsibilities of the Office with Sean Heaton. “Blake’s leadership and experience in representing users of office space will free me up to focus on growing our business in the representation of industrial clients,” commented Heaton. “There is tremendous opportunity in the underserved industrial market and I am quite excited to get back to my passion of working with manufacturing and distribution companies throughout the Pacific Northwest.”

“While I have always respected Cresa, their integrity and commitment to only represent occupiers, the intangible that really intrigued me about joining the firm was the opportunity to be a part of its local, regional and national growth strategy,” said St. Onge. “Cresa is a dynamic growth oriented company and Mike and I wanted to be a part of shaping something great in the region.”

“When Blake and I met with Jim Underhill to understand the vision of Cresa, we were excited about the opportunity to be a part of the Portland office and Cresa’s direction moving forward. Jim’s vision and passion for the occupier services platform is infectious – we recognized this from the start and understood the value in joining Cresa and being a part of the future success of the firm,” commented Whitten.

Cresa has a history exclusively serving occupiers of office and industrial space dating back to 1993. After a brief hiatus from the Portland market, the office was re-established in 2016 and experiencing an overwhelming response to its platform of conflict free representation. “We want tenants to know there is a distinct choice in their representation for real estate services and that our firm offers them the highest ethical standard of representation in our industry,” Commented St. Onge. “We are the only firm in the market exclusively serving the occupier, and we fully expect increased demand for our services as we educate the market of the risks of dual representation and conflicts of interest representing both sides of a negotiation.”
