Cresa Joins Ascensus for Unveiling of New Operations Center

August 23, 2017

Cresa was honored to be in attendance at the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for Ascensus’ new 27,000 SF west coast operations center in Tucson, AZ.

Cresa’s Blake St. Onge and Kelly Branch joined local dignitaries, including the Mayor of Tucson, Jonathan Rothschild, and other guests in heralding this occasion with Ascensus’ executive management team. “It was a pleasure to share in this exciting moment; witnessing the final product of a project that we started nearly two years ago with Ascensus. A beautiful outcome resulting from effective collaboration since its conception,” added St. Onge.

The idea for the west coast operations center began with Ascensus’ vision of further enhancing its client services platform—enabling access on the west coast time zone. Cresa’s team helped build and execute the strategy to place Ascensus into a productive market aligned with their business plan and projected growth pattern. The consulting team provided comprehensive location analysis and strategy, the transaction team identified properties in the respective, narrowed markets and negotiated the real estate deal, and the project management team built out and moved Ascensus into the new 27,000 SF space.

The new location enables closer proximity to an abundant portion of their clients, those within the Pacific and Mountain time zones, and permits them accessibility to University of Arizona’s talent pool. Ascensus’ new office will retain a full-time staff of 60 associates, allowing growth for up to 175 associates.

“To be involved in such an exciting project, and see the physical product come to fruition, evidenced by the great turnout at the ribbon cutting, is so rewarding,” added Branch, Cresa’s project manager who assisted Ascensus on the delivery of the space. St. Onge shares his enthusiasm. “We wish the Ascensus team abundant success in their growth in Tucson and across the entire organization!”
