Conley sells real estate firm to nephew

December 9, 2014

Tim Conley, who built Conley Associates of Albany, now Cresa Albany, into one of the region’s top real estate companies, has sold the firm to nephew Zac Conley of Bethlehem.< /p>

Cresa Albany represents tenants only – one of its differentiating qualities. Cresa is a national network of tenant-only firms based in Boston.

Tim Conley, 59, who grew up in Watervliet and now lives in Latham, was one of the top brokers in the United States in 1993 when he started his own firm. He will still represent clients but plans on spending a lot more time playing golf and spending time at his second home in Florida.

Zac Conley, 32, purchased a 100 percent stake in Conley Associates.

Tim Conley’s son Brian runs Conley Realty Services, a property management firm based in Albany.

Zac Conley, a Bethlehem high school grad, started his career at Conley Associates and then worked at Carrow Real Estate Services and First Columbia Property Services before coming back this year to Cresa Albany to run the firm.
