Complex in the Hempstead Industrial Park Sold

HOUSTON – September 3, 2014 – The Houston office of Cresa, North America’s largest tenant representation firm, recently closed the following transactions:

Nelson Duffie Interests has acquired 10612 Hempstead Highway, a 12-building, multi-tenant industrial complex housing office/warehouse space in the Hempstead Road Industrial Park. The buildings, which total 133,800 square feet, are situated on 7.0839 acres. Andrew Jewett of Cresa represented the seller, Glauser Properties.

8200 Southwest Freeway in the Southwest Outer Loop Industrial submarket recently sold to Vali LLC. The 17,364-square-foot flex property is being used as a showroom warehouse. Andrew Jewett with Cresa represented the buyer, and Brad Elmore of Newquest Properties advised the seller.

The Robert A. Welch Foundation, one of the United States' oldest and largest private funding sources for basic chemical research, recently renewed its lease for 11,601 square feet in Marathon Oil Tower. The building, which is located at 5555 San Felipe St, is in the Galleria/Uptown submarket. David Price, a principal, and Ray Lopez, a senior advisor, with Cresa Houston represented the tenant. The landlord, SPUS6 MOT, LLC, was advised by Elliot Hirschfeld and Cody Armbrister of CBRE.
