Carpetmaster wanted to relocate and had identified a preferred site. With their current lease expiring, they were under a strict timeline. The client retained Cresa Albany to effectively negotiate a lease and facilitate redesign of the new space.
Cresa Albany quickly and effectively negotiated a lease on the client’s behalf. Cresa Partners’ design and construction department then served as the client’s ‘go-to’ agent, coordinating all the parties in the renovation and redesign. Tasks carried out for the client included: obtaining architectural services, reviewing project plans, establishing project budgets and timelines, administering the construction bid process, providing project coordination, reviewing scope changes and contractor invoices, managing weekly job-site meetings, performing project inspections, coordinating code inspections, and establishing a project library (warranties, manuals, and ‘as-builts’).
Even with the inclusion of a major internal structural alteration, the project was completed on time and on budget. The client received maximum value despite the strict timeline, enjoying modernized interior and exterior spaces.
