The Capital District Child Care Council wanted to consolidate three locations under one roof and hired Cresa Albany to find alternative sites and negotiate a lease.
Cresa Albany scoured the market and identified thirty-seven potential sites. Cresa Albany worked the list down to seven that best matched the client’s requirements and facilitated a physical inspection and evaluation of each. This process ensured that the client was an active part of site-selection without being overwhelmed by complex information and data. When a change in building tenancy made the client’s current site an option, Cresa Albany flexibly responded to include it in the site review process.
Cresa Albany managed a Request for Proposals (RFP) process to solicit competitive offers from the landlords of the sites that best met the client’s facility and transactional requirements. Ultimately the client made an informed decision to remain in their current location. However, thanks to Cresa Albany’ objective research and negotiating acumen, they still obtained a below-market rental rate.
