Experience

 

Bill has over 28 years of corporate and commercial real estate experience having worked in local, national and international environments. Bill specializes in complex real estate transactions that typically involve a significant level of strategic planning and financial engineering to execute on. Bill is well-versed in managing the process of complex assignments to obtain internal consensus within the client organization as well as to execute to the desired objective.

Bill has been involved in more than 7 million square feet of assignments throughout his career, including representing Trimble Navigation, Sears Mortgage Corporation, Ciber, Inc. and United Space Alliance nationally and internationally. Bill has completed multiple transactions from strategic planning through execution including major corporate headquarters for Merrick & Company, United Artists Theatres, Jones International, Trimble Navigation, Savi Technology, Leaf Incorporated, Sears Mortgage Corporation and eCollege. In addition to the above, Bill has provided merger and acquisition advisory services, portfolio consulting, and project planning expertise to Westerra Credit Union, ADA-Environmental Solutions, and VICORP Restaurants, Inc. advising on building valuations, alternative options for occupancy and sale-leaseback dispositions of their corporate headquarters. Bill also has extensive international experience advising on assignments in the Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America & Canada.

Prior to joining Cresa, Bill was with the boutique advisory Liberty Greenfield which merged into Cresa. Prior to Liberty Greenfield, Bill was with The Galbreath Company in Denver, Stein and Company in Chicago and Coldwell Banker Commercial where Bill began his career in 1987.

At Cresa, Bill is actively involved in the strategic direction of both the national and local organizations. In Denver, Bill shares responsibility for the leadership and management of the office in long-range planning, finance and administration roles. On the national level, Bill was elected to the Board of Directors of Cresa in 2014 and has previously served as both Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Strategic Leadership Council, and as a member of the Finance and Strategic Services committees.
