Cresa Capital Markets identified a party comfortable with the ground lease that would purchase the partially built facility at the client’s cost, fund the balance of construction, and structure a lease at an aggressive rate that met the client’s objectives. Our firm also arranged the financing with a large European bank. Cresa Capital Markets worked with the client and its auditors to ensure that the lease achieved operating lease treatment. Gestamp was given decision making rights during construction in order to ensure that the facility was built to the company’s exact requirements. The facility was delivered on time and under budget
