Team Building and Home Building

Cresa's 2018 Habitat for Humanity Build Day

If you emailed our Portland office on Friday, March 9 chances are you received an out of office message. Our team spent the entire day getting our hands dirty with Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity is an organization that is close to our hearts. With the support of donors and volunteers, they revitalize neighborhoods, build affordable and sustainable homes and empower families through homeownership. Their mission is critical to our community as housing prices in the Portland market have increased 90 percent since 2011. At that time the median home price was $195,000, today that number is roughly $369,500.*

At Cresa, we’re all about putting our values into action, which is why we chose to take the day to give back to our community. As a team, our office completed exterior and foundation rock laying, insulation foam laying for foundation, painting, caulking and site clean-up.

It was a day full of sweat and smiles. If you or your company are looking for ways to get involved, we highly recommend taking a build day. Having the chance to work with our hands to help build a home for a family in need was a truly rewarding experience.
