Description

In this role you will be responsible for supporting a team of Project Managers in planning and managing small to large ($50M+) sized projects. You will help service our clients for the entire life cycle of the project from project initiation to complete project closure. To succeed at this, you’ll need to be detail oriented, a strong collaborator, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Management team in planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling assigned projects from initiation to project closure
  • Prepare documentation including budgets, schedules, status reports and meeting minutes
  • Assist in overseeing and managing project activities to ensure projects are completed in accordance with our client's expectations and maintain ongoing communication with clients
  • Complete vendor procurement for, but not limited to, Designers, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Movers and Furniture Suppliers
  • Provide project accounting support including reviewing invoices against contract and progress and recommendations for payment
  • Attend client meetings as required
  • Manage and coordinate project team’s calendars/schedules and communication
  • Complete project close-out activities related to quality management, customer service and financial close out of the projects
  • Provide the highest level of client service

Requirements

Qualifications
  • College Diploma and/or University Degree
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience in Project Coordination is required
  • Knowledge of the design and construction process
  • Knowledge of commercial project and move management processes and tasks
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project)
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet an asset
  • High-energy with a tendency and ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as thrive in a team environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with multiple deadlines, and on various projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a people person
  • Excellent customer service/client relations skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
