Cresa's Boston office is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our growing project management team. We are looking for an individual who can assist in managing multiple commercial construction projects, focusing on everyday project needs such as participating in strategy and planning meetings, providing coordination on projects, and conducting move/relocation management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist project management team on a range of client projects and assignments including the development of scope and schedule of projects
  • Create furniture and other move management inventory spreadsheets
  • Review vendor invoices and applications for payment
  • Coordinate vendor insurance certificates
  • Review lease language as it relates to tenant improvement projects
  • Coordinate activities of owner vendors
  • Manage move/relocation needs including: mover walkthroughs, create and track inventory sheets, coordinate move meetings, create move packages, develop signage, and manage other physical relocation activities as needed
  • Gather close-out documentation, create and distribute close-out packages to landlords and clients
  • Assist in project financial documentation
  • Create, coordinate, and track vendor Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Generate proposals for Project Management Services
  • Develop client-facing presentations using PowerPoint
  • Maintain accurate and consistent documentation and deliverables using Excel and/or Smartsheet
  • Ownership of project databases and information including digital filing and tracking
  • Assist in coordinating and conducting weekly meetings - documenting and sharing meeting notes with team

Experience, Skills, and Attributes

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred but not required
  • Basic knowledge of construction, architecture, or commercial real estate industry with 1-2 years of industry experience preferred
  • Aptitude to learn, proficiently use, and apply project management technologies
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, with attention to Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet
  • Superior organizational skills, process and detailed oriented with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Proactive approach to client /project requirements as well as project-related issues
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to establish goals and objectives
  • Ability to work well both collaboratively and independently
  • Excellent analytical and communications skills
  • Aptitude to communicate and interact with clients and vendors on a day-to-day basis
