Description

The Analyst will support the national Capital Strategies team members and Cresa’s regional Tenant Representative offices/divisions (sales channels) to qualify and source revenue opportunities for Cresa’s corporate owner/occupier clients. Responsibilities include property research, financial analysis, drafting of pitches and offering memorandums, and supporting all aspects of the sales, negotiation and closing process for commercial real estate transactions.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • The Capital Strategies practice provides financial advisory and capital markets products and services related to corporate owners/occupiers of commercial real estate for Cresa’s occupier clients.
  • The services provided will be sales support, financial advice, transaction structuring and capital sourcing, in conjunction with other Cresa employees, as appropriate.
  • We envision the Capital Strategies national team will be comprised of a 5 to 7 professionals that will work
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Project management skills to complete due diligence on commercial real estate properties and assemble pitches and offering memoranda.
  • General understanding of appropriate accounting, corporate finance and tax guidelines, strategies and theories to help assess the full occupier/user impact of capital markets decisions and structures.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to develop appropriate tools to support client decision making requirements.
  • Fluency in standard industry databases and resources; CoStar, Real Capital Analytics, Trepp, etc
  • Team-player with experience in working collaboratively across business and regional lines.

Education & Experience

  • 2+ years of extensive commercial real estate corporate finance and capital markets experience, with knowledge of typical finance structures and associated debt and equity sources
  • Licensed Real Estate Broker
