Description

The Senior Advisor, Labor Analytics works with internal advisors and clients to prepare analyses related to the real estate and labor market conditions within a specific market or markets for domestic and multi-national clients. This includes producing detailed reports and presentations around market conditions and workforce concentration, quality, and competition. The Senior Advisor, Labor Analytics proactively conducts research projects, manages databases, ensures data integrity, and performs trend analyses. This position requires the ability to work both independently and cross-collaboratively with internal and external clients to help determine reporting needs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Research, organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize data to generate insights and executive-level reports
  • Utilize programming and analytical tools, including EMSI, ArcGIS, and open-source programs (i.e., Python, R and SAS, SQL, or similar relational database tools) to formulate models and extract insights
  • Create algorithms, identifying market and labor patterns and insights utilizing graphs, intelligence dashboards, charts, trees, and other data representation techniques as required
  • Document global definitions, processes, and practice to ensure consistent usage of data regarding the market and workforce
  • Identify opportunities to maximize data usage, applying modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies, and improve business performance
  • Maintain, enhance, and support the deployment of analytics tools that support enterprise data needs

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Labor Studies, Research, or another related field
  • Minimum of three years professional experience in real estate or related industry
  • Fundamental understanding of real estate and terminology
  • Proficient in Microsoft and open-data sources and related analytical tools
  • Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
