Description

We are currently looking for an Associate Project Manager to be based at the corporate headquarters of a large international client in Plano, TX. This position will report to the Cresa Senior Project Manager based in Plano and will be working directly with local client stakeholders, ultimately being responsible for the success of each project. The Associate Project Manager role assists on multiple commercial construction projects, focusing on everyday project needs such as attending and documenting meetings, providing coordination on projects, assistance in budgeting and scheduling, and conducting move/relocation management, among other tasks.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Associative Project Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist project team on projects and assignments
  • Proactively manage project-related issues
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all project management technology as required for assigned projects
  • Assist in developing scope and schedule for assigned projects
  • Assist in maintaining project financial documentation
  • Ownership of project databases and information including digital filing and tracking.
  • Document and help conduct weekly meetings
  • Maintain accurate and consistent documentation
  • Coordinate activities of owner vendors
  • Assume responsibility for projects under 20k sf with oversight by Sr PM
  • Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Coordinate and track Vendor RFP’s
  • Review vendor invoices and applications for payment
  • Familiarity of Change Order process and budget management

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred
  • Basic knowledge of construction, architecture, or commercial real estate industry
  • One to two years of industry experience preferred
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, Smartsheet, and/or Bluebeam preferred
