Matt Newstrom leads the Project Management team at Cresa Portland. Matt is responsible for all phases of planning, design and construction service delivery, client relations and project management for corporate and government accounts in the Portland/Vancouver area. His responsibilities include identifying, pre-qualifying, and oversight of all project team members including design professionals, contractors and any specialized vendors required for each specific project to deliver the client's needs. Matt excels in team building, strategic planning, construction administration and delivers the highest level customer service. Matt is also responsible for assisting clients with incorporating LEED requirements and practices into projects and operations.
Before joining Cresa Portland, Matt was the Property Services Manager for the City of Vancouver, Washington. In this role, Matt served as Capital Projects Manager, administering the City's property portfolio: including leases, property acquisitions and dispositions as well as leading a number of process improvement projects. Prior to employment with the City, Matt was Building Operations Manager for Multnomah County, Oregon, overseeing the property management program for the county's 3 million square foot portfolio. Matt spearheaded strategic projects, process improvement initiatives and was integral in building customer relations and maintaining customer satisfaction.
