Position Overview

Cresa, one of the fastest growing tenant representation firms in the United States, is seeking to hire a self-motivated commercial real estate broker in its Pittsburgh, PA office. Responsible for all elements of account development, revenue generation and collection including the identification, initiation, procurement, management, execution and delivery of brokerage and corporate services to new and existing clients.


Operating Environment

The position is supervised by the Managing Principal.  Brokers work as independent contractors, but have accountability to other team members and the process of executing the collaborative sales cycle on a task by task basis.

Position interacts with all levels of management and will be required to maintain positive internal and external working relationships with constituents to include but not limited to:  clients and prospects, vendors, allied professionals, outside brokers, and other interdepartmental Cresa employees and independent contractors.

Requires a dynamic, conscientious, self starter, with good organizational skills and the ability to adapt priorities to the changing demands of our business cycles.


Major Accountabilities and Key Measurements

  • Performance will be measured by the generation of gross revenue for the office
  • Collaborative leadership participation in account development, procurement and execution of business opportunities
  • Requires Cold Calling and documentation of each canvassing attempt (in database)
  • Sales and technical skill enhancement for the real estate process
  • Participation at sales meetings and special events
  • Accountability to the sales process, and office procedures
  • Coordinate with the Sales Support Administrator
  • Comply with tracking of all revenue
  • Preparation and updating of personal business plan on an annual basis
  • Assist in recruitment and retention of other Independent Contractors and key support personnel

Other Critical Responsibilities

  • Direct and assist in the development of sales tools and techniques.
  • Design and implement a system for canvassing new prospects and maintaining existing client relationships.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Vice President, Broker

  • Pennsylvania Real Estate Salespersons License, Preferred but not required for interview
  • License would be required to work in field
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Creative thinker with a positive, solution oriented attitude
  • Strong Organizational, Interpersonal Communication skills
  • Courteous and Professional Demeanor
  • Professional Phone Manner
  • Strong character and ethical values a must
